Who We Are

Dr. Isabel Ling

Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Isabel Ling is a compassionate veterinarian with more than a decade of experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and Australian native wildlife. Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to providing thoughtful, individualised care and building lasting relationships with the families she supports.

Her greatest passion lies in improving quality of life for pets at every stage of their journey. From supporting healthy, active lives to helping families navigate difficult decisions with empathy and compassion, Dr. Isabel is committed to ensuring every patient receives the care and dignity they deserve.

As the Mid North Coast's only Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist, Dr. Isabel combines veterinary medicine with physical therapy to help pets recover from surgery and injury, maintain mobility, and enjoy the best possible quality of life. Her vision for making rehabilitation more accessible led to the creation of REACH, a dedicated rehabilitation and wellness centre designed to help pets thrive.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Isabel enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Bilbo and Junimo, who are cherished members of the family. Together with her two children, she loves making the most of the Mid North Coast lifestyle, whether that means relaxing at the beach, exploring the outdoors, or simply enjoying quality time together.

Dr. Isabel understands the special bond people share with their pets and considers it a privilege to be trusted with their care. Her calm nature, clinical expertise, and genuine love for animals are at the heart of everything she does.

Natalie

Veterinary Nurse

Meet Natalie, our compassionate and experienced Certified Level IV Veterinary Nurse who plays a vital role in our mobile service.

Natalie provides in-home nurse consults and patient care, using her calm, gentle approach to help animals feel safe and at ease. From administering medications and post-operative checks to supporting rehabilitation sessions, she delivers skilled and empathetic care wherever it’s needed.

She also works closely with the Port Macquarie Animal Welfare Service (PMAWS), coordinating and assisting Dr. Isabel with vaccinations and treatments for animals in foster care. These are carried out in the comfort and safety of carers’ homes, one of the key reasons our mobile service was created.

In addition to her mobile work, Natalie is the Head Veterinary Nurse at Timbertown Vet Hospital, where she leads in radiography, dental procedures and inpatient care. Detail-oriented, hardworking, and highly dedicated, Natalie ensures every patient receives the highest standard of care – whether in clinic or out on the road.

Zoe

Animal Behaviourist

Meet Zoe, our knowledgeable Animal Behaviourist and rehab team member, with a strong focus on practical solutions for pets and their people.

Zoe runs her own dog training business, Zoe’s Happy Hounds, and brings this expertise to our team in order to support behaviour management, training and improving quality of life at home. She uses positive reinforcement techniques to help dogs feel more confident, settled and understood.

Zoe runs our tailored rehabilitation exercise classes at our REACH facility, for dogs recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, needing mobility support, or simply looking for something new and enriching to do. Her Paws In Motion: Canine Conditioning sessions are structured, effective, and designed to build strength, confidence, and comfort. She’s also a familiar face to many local pet owners through her ongoing work at Oxley Highway Veterinary Clinic.

Behind the scenes, she’s our go-to for all things admin, IT and social media; managing bookings, streamlining systems, and keeping our community engaged and informed online. Her mix of behaviour knowledge, tech skills, and calm efficiency makes her an essential part of our team.

Taren

Administration

Meet Taren, our reliable, down-to-earth country girl who keeps our mobile service running smoothly from behind the scenes.

A qualified Veterinary Nurse, Taren is also a Certified Canine Hydrotherapist – or as we like to call her, our Hydromaster. She runs AquaPaws Therapy, the Hydrotherapy Treadmill that operates out of our REACH facility. She brings a great mix of clinical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a deep love for animals to everything she does.

Working remotely from her home base, Taren manages our phones, books appointments, coordinates our mobile schedule, and ensures every consult runs on time. She’s often the first point of contact for our clients, offering calm, friendly support and clear communication throughout the process.

With a background in animal care and rural life, Taren brings a practical, grounded approach to her work. She’s a vital part of our team – dependable, organised, and always ready to jump in and help wherever she’s needed.
