Who are the classes run by?
Our classes are run by Tristen, a force-free, science-based trainer with over 16 years of experience in the animal industry. Beginning her career as a veterinary nurse before moving into dog training and behaviour, Tristen brings a unique understanding of both the emotional and practical challenges that can come with dog ownership.
Using evidence-based training methods and a compassionate, supportive approach, Tristen is passionate about helping dogs and their people build strong, positive relationships. Whether you have a young puppy, an energetic adolescent, or an adult dog, she provides guidance and support to help you and your dog thrive together.
What do you need to bring?
Please arrive with your dog on a secure lead and make sure they’ve had a chance to toilet before the session — this helps keep the space clean and ensures your dog is comfortable and focused. Bring along some high-value treats that your dog absolutely loves — we recommend Prime100 roll cut into small 1cm cubes as the ideal training reward. Dry kibble or standard store-bought treats often aren’t motivating enough for the types of exercises we’ll be doing. Most importantly, bring a sense of adventure and a positive attitude — we’re here to have fun, build confidence, and help your dog move and feel their best in a safe, friendly environment!
Want a private 1:1 session?
Prefer a more personalised approach or have a dog that isn’t quite suited to group classes? Tristen offers private one-on-one sessions tailored specifically to your dog’s needs, pace, and personality. These are ideal for dogs that may be anxious or reactive in a group setting. To learn more or book a private session, simply give us a call or send an enquiry — we’re happy to chat and help you find the best option for your dog.
